Details
Smooth and sexy, this straight grained pot from American pipe maker, David Huber of DSH Pipes, is indeed a straight smoker. Deceptively curvy, though drilled straight, this thick walled and high-contrast smooth comes from a very old design and has a solid and sleek countenance, coupled with a natural birch wood insert of golden wheat color between two dressy bands of brass. Composed for clenching, the ebonite stem has just enough bend, or rather nuanced shape, to make this gorgeous briar a fantastically functional implement for the enjoyment of a good English from any varietal blend. Densely packed with birdseye both top and bottom, this slightly canted and well executed pot is an excellent example of the masterful attention it deserves for those who appreciate smoking the very finest briar.
