Details
Lithe and lightweight, this elegant shaped and symmetrical tomato from North Carolina carver, David Huber, is finished in a pure black sandblast with a smooth rim and shank's face. The mortise has been reinforced with brass to ensure many generations of enjoyment and the narrow chamber cones to a draft at the bottom, perfect for Virginias and shag cut blends. There are no panels or seams in the bowl or shank but the a delicate pinch just after the transition makes the shank slightly taller than it is wide. Designed to be more than just a comfortable clencher, this understated American handmade beauty draws like all of Dave's pipes and promises bowl after bowl of sweet and dry satisfaction.
