Vividly striking, this high-contrast bent smooth coffee bean from David Huber of DSH pipes is a marvelous use of his proprietary finishing methods. The color and tone reach all the way through the spectrum of black to tiger orange in this brilliantly bent briar. Sensuous and symmetric, the seams along the sides of the wide shank never get too sharp and the rounded elongated rim has a perfect bevel to keep the dramatic cross grain always looking spectacular. Ideally suited for a virginia, this perfect drawing vessel of birdseye and dense grain is both beautiful and ridiculously functional.
