Deeply sandblasted and finished on top with a deliciously detailed and rugged presence, this roughhewn dublin has an underbelly of smooth polished birdseye making this pipe a showcase of finishing techniques. Juxtaposing the dark, and rich tones of the ringed blast with a high-contrast briar canvas of smooth birdseye provides an added dimension to this low slung and slick smoker. Note the details of the smooth bevel encased in the rim's plateau and again, at the smooth facing of the shank's face. Even the sculpted saddle stem of ebonite echoes the theme of the wide shank, masterfully fitted flush for balance and comfort against the smooth and finished wood.
