Details
While this straight and tapered apple is finished smooth with some contrast, the grain in the dark and rich colored surface isn't dynamic enough to justify a higher grade for the Danish carver. The shank is slightly taller than round for a vertical oval shape that ultimately allows for a bit more briar underneath the chamber at the bottom of the thick walled bowl. Wide and cylindrical, this lightweight and comfortable clencher promises a consistent smooth draw from the char to the last morsel at the bottom with a minimum of relights.
