Classically cut with some modern updates, this prince from Nate King, professional American pipe maker residing in Indianna, hits a lot of notes for both shape and color. The bamboo shanks breaks the smooth textures of the cross-grained bowl and bakelite stem while the color of the latter is difficult to miss at any distance. Harder to spot is the brass reinforcement on the back of the bamboo to ensure a snug fit for generations of use. Wide in the not so deep chamber, this remarkably lightweight clencher is a boon to those who enjoy a folded flake or straight English in less than hour long smokes.
