Quite large with a massive bowl and a chasm of chamber, this handmade Søren sitter estate pipe from Denmark features a wide pedestal on which it sits sturdily, with or without tobacco. The smooth finish is packed with dense and straight grain with a rim full of tight birdseye and a shank's face capped with the plateau from the very outer edge of the briar burl. The tremendously thick walls provide a fair amount of heft keeping this lovely smoker from being suitable for clenching, but with a built in stand is a convenient companion for any favorite chair setting. In excellent condition and completely UNSMOKED, this capacious freehand has a steeply tapered chamber and a marvelously smooth draw suitable for any tongue friendly favorite blend, especially an English/burley hybrid or Danish aromatic.
