Finished smooth save the tightly packed plateau portions of the rim and shank, this Ben Wade Hand Model estate pipe was prized for its modern shaping and used as a display piece by distributors for the brand. Impressive in scale and featuring a conical chamber that is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom where met by the draft hole, this Danish freehand is particularly suited to aromatics and burley based blends, though anything will do well with the smooth and open draw. In outstanding condition though there is some inner rim darkening at the bottom of the smooth bevel into the champer.
