This stack from Consul has one of the best grain patterns I've seen on such a pipe. It's not that the grain is super dense, but the cross cut orientation isn't right to left, but instead back to front, and is perfectly aligned. This creates a very interesting look, and the tall bowl shows it off marvelously. If this was an accident, it was a happy one. In solid condition, this estate pipe does have some light scratches and some handling marks around the bowl. The rim also has a bit of wear.
