Thick in the shank and strong in the chin, this Georg Jensen 72 Ekstra bent estate pipe is finished smooth with enough contrast and straight grain to appreciate how well the burl was oriented to the shape of the pipe. The wide cylindrical chamber is wide and will make flavorful work from a strong English or a loose cut leaf though many may find Virginia too intense in such a capacious bowl. In excellent condition and free of any fills or flaws, this Danish-made clencher draws well and promises a fine smoke regardless of what is packed inside.
