Yorgos Mitakidis Pipe 9823 Ring Blast Canted Dublin Sitter

Deeply sandblasted to reveal the straight grain and growth rings of the briar, this handmade dublin from Greek pipe maker, Yorgos Mitakidis, was left smooth on the rim where it has been kissed by the plateau from the very outer surface of the briar.  A thin pencil shank and a perfect taper, combined with the deep blast, keep this narrow chambered smoker's weight to a delightful minimum allowing a clenching smoke to go on for as slow a pace as possible.  The chamber does narrow to a perfectly placed draft at the bottom and coupled with the marvelously smooth draw, this virginia destroyer can't fail to celebrate the sweetest of tobaccos to the satisfaction of the smoker again and again.
