Yorgos Mitakidis Pipe 3122 Tall Cutty with Cumberland Brindle

Graceful and supremely clean, this gorgeously shaped tall cutty from Greece is shiny, sleek, minimal, and superbly sexy with a classic taper in the cumberland brindle stem and an impressively tight transition from bowl to shank that can only be achieved in handmade briars.  The smooth finish of antique and rich red on the bowl is difficult to fully capture in the pictures, but know that this is not a black stain and the cross-grain of cascading natural briar patterns can be seen in person, but only from a few inches away.  A deep chamber of slight conical taper suggests a virginia, though the engineering is so well done this straight and beautiful briar will likely smoke anything extraordinarily well.
