Beautifully finished in a high contrast display of straight grain dressed up in tan and chocolate, this curvy bent apple from Ranz Freehands has a tapered stem and a rounded rim into the chamber. Like all of Ron's pipes, there is a lovely draw that connects the wide chamber to the slot in the button and just enough room in the cylindrical design to get all the nuanced flavor from a straight English or Balkan blend, though any genre will do well here. A touch of heft for all the surrounding beautiful briar but this American-made smoker is still a comfortable clencher.
