Dr. Bob Pipe Rusticated Hawkbill

Marvelously finished in british tan, this deeply rusticated piece is consistent around its entire stummel, letting the shape speak for itself.  A simple band of white acrylic fulcrums the thick wall of the briar to the classy tortoise shell stem.  As are all of Dr. Bob's hawkbills, the execution is without flaw from the smooth rim to the perfection of the drilled draft directed straight to the bottom of the bowl.  With a chamber of geometric scale that represents the sweet spot between too little for the English blends and too big for the virginias, this blonde bombshell is just right indeed.
