Dirk Heinemann Pipe Bent Sandblast Morta Egg with Antler
Item # DH216537Sold Out
Details
Made from semi-petrified bog oak that was buried for thousands of years, commonly referred to as Morta, this sandblast from Dirk captures the dynamic and geometric beauty of the material. Capped at the end of the shank with antler, this Danish influenced and saddled smoker has a compelling organic feel with a playful use of both color and texture. Not quite a pure black, this specimen from Germany is on the lighter side and has tones of chocolate brown and olive greens, depending on which way the light hits. And of course, like all of Dirk's pipes, the engineering and draw are simply flawless.
