Bill Walther Pipe Large Sandblast Billiard with Buddha Bamboo and Brindle

Absolutely massive in the chamber, this large sandblated billiard from Texas carver, Bill Walther, is mounted with a saddle brindle stem of cumberland and a three knuckle buddha bamboo shank.  Look closely and you'll see that he also used two slim rings of briar to encase the shank and even took the time and trouble to line the bamboo mortise with a sleeve of briar, guaranteeing a sturdier fit that will always be snug.  The rusty and tonal finish of the ring blasted briar suits the brindle well, and the bamboo is just the right proportion to carry this immensely sized bowl.  With a smooth and open draw, this full capacity smoker will be plenty to keep the smoke puffing for several blissful hours at a time.
