Tom Richard Pipe Long Shanked Dublin with Plateau

This fantastic grained piece from Tom Richard is a showcase of high contrast angel hair straight grain that wraps wonderfully around the entirety of the stummel.  Marvelously beveled smooth with a rim of eye popping plateau, this long thick walled smoker has a reverse taper in the shank capped off by a white band of acrylic and a thicker band of old school red brindle, providing balance.  Never afraid of color, Tom's use of the butterscotch stem keeps the eyes moving, drinking in the profundity of this extraordinary, sturdy, and elegantly detailed masterpiece.
