Made in Stanwell's Danish factory before operations were moved to Italy, this Royal Guard freehand estate pipe features a double finish of smooth and contrasting straight grain as well as some sandblasting covering the shank, transition, and heel. Capped at the rim with plateau and fitted with a shank extension of ebonite, this Danish briar suffered a broken button so we have made a new stem in our own workshop with specific attention to a smooth draw. In outstanding condition with some minor inner rim darkening.
