Details
Massive in the bowl and cleaved along the side and bottom with smooth portions of straight grain concaved into the bowl and birdseye set into the flat pedestal on which the pipe sturdily sits, This majestic and grand briar from Todd Johnson has a flared rosewood ferrule of some length as a understated echo of the red tones in the stummel. The plateau rimmed bowl has plenty of growth rings winding around the sandblasted majority of the stummel's surface. Wide in the deep chamber, this smooth drawing, fantastic briar is both masculine and graceful with subtle curves and a smooth red bevel into the bowl.
