Erik Nielsen Pipe Grade A High-Contrast Apple

Grade A pipes are few and far between for Danish carver Erik Nielsen.  He does have a higher designation of AA that has only been used a few times, but this is the first we've seen on the top end of the scale and it is stunning.  No fills and no beauty marks, this straight and round shank tapered apple is just densely packed straight grain and birdseye wrapped around the well proportioned stummel.  A wide chamber sits behind thick walls making this gorgeous smoker just as much a smoker as it is a looker.
