While not overly fancy, this Astor bent and blasted billiard estate pipe from England is over bent making the already lightweight briar practically disappear when lit and clenched between the teeth. The cross-grain orientation revealed distinct growth rings running up and down the front of the bowl and the cylindrical chamber is deep and wide enough to keep a native English blend burning pleasantly along for just over an hour. Well drilled and easy to pass a cleaner to the bottom of the bowl without removing the stem, this all-day clencher is in excellent condition with a smooth draw.
