Although a great amount of time was spent trying, the pictures of this spectacular smooth straight grained pipe by Jerry Crawford, just don't do it justice. The very deep, burgundy chestnut finish can only be appreciated in person, and when placed in the sunlight...wow. Jerry took no shortcuts in this finish, which is all too often being done these days. This is phenomenal and with a striking ring of camel bone, the subtle contrast in the grain is wonderfully distinct in a lighter copper shade. With the slight touch of heft, this man's man pipe is going to be an heirloom for many generations.
