Details
This little teapot from Jerry Crawford makes up in detail what it lacks in size. Though not a particularly small pipe, it has some features that normally aren't apparent in pipes of this scale. For instance, the bottom of the saddle is slightly longer than the top, with a rounded edge, accentuating the small curve in the stem. Also, the very thin line of smooth briar, left unblasted, and finished in the same lighter shade as the smooth rim, right at the stem's transition is both even and flawless for a stem thats as smooth on the inside as it is the outside. I recommend this smoking jewel for flakes, but with the 3/4 inch sweet spot of a diameter, everything will do well here.
