Yorgos Mitakidis Pipe 3722 Sandblast Morta Billiard with Brushed Brass and Military Mount

Brass is nothing new to pipe adornment, but we were delighted to see Yorgos Mitakidis work in a band of brushed brass on this deeply sandblasted morta billiard.  The dark and clean lines of the stummels finish are given some warmth by including the light diffusing metal that is securing the mortise of the military mount.  An excellent composition inviting to anyone who knows about the versatility of smoking from this briar alternative and appreciates the handmade quality of such a superb fit and finish.
