Thomas James Pipe Tan Blast Chimney with Brindle

Wholey American, this tall stack from Thomas James is a triumph of form following functional design.  Clean lines and a superb hand cut tapered stem, on a canvas of well seasoned briar, make for a lithe and lean imminently smokable pipe.  While the finish does show off some revealing rings from the sandblast, most notable is the presence of distinct patterns of straight grain.  Fitted with an integral tenon, the mortise is sleeved with delrin, keeping this long stemmed jewel in a class by itself.  This is the metaphorical "Yes!" to pipe smokers all over the world.  We can smoke and we can look good doing it!
