Savinelli De Luxe Milano 624 KS 1/4 Bent Sandblast Bulldog Estate Pipe

When we first encountered a Savinelli with a perspex stem, we thought it was a replacement. But indeed, Savinelli did produce the De Luxe with these clear acrylic stems. This rendition is the classic 624 bent bulldog in an equally classy black sandblast. The stem on this example is a bit crazed near the shank end, but acrylic is durable stuff, so no concerns about longevity here. Other than the aforementioned crazing, the rest of the pipe is in remarkably good shape, just a wisp of rim darkening. A fascinating juxtaposition with vintage vibes.
