Peterson System 31 Billiard with Nickel and P-Lip Estate Pipe with Replacement Stem

When this Peterson System billiard estate pipe arrived in our workshop for restoration, the original P-lip stem was present.  Unfortunately, while the oxidation was being removed a small hole underneath the bite was revealed so it has been replaced with another of slightly shorter length.  The original threaded filter was saved and is still a snug fit and maintains a smooth draw.  Capped at the shank with nickel, this Irish smoker does have some fills in its smooth finish as well as some minor handling marks, but draws smooth and the patented system is prepared to keep any tobacco dry and sweet while being smoked.
