Michail Kyriazanos Pipe 1/2 Bent Ring Blast Billiard with Cumberland

Although not exceptionally deep and craggy, as is all too popular, this extraordinary sandblast finish is extremely articulate in showcasing the growth rings of the briar.  Dark red, rust, and plum cherry hues serve to detail the straight grain and the use of a cumberland brindle is an extension of those colors.  Michail pays homage to the oldest of canonical shapes with an over bent profile, much like the original French briars over a century ago.  Some classical traditions will simply never stop being appealing.
