Max Capps Pipe Bent Bore Ring Blast Sitter with Plateau and Vintage Redwood

This Max Capps pipe from his well crafted Bent Bore abilities isn't just a sitter.  The second picture is the stance this pipe takes by design, and is more aptly described as standing up and waving.  Saddled and with a wonderful half diamond shank, this tall adorned smoker is remarkably light, like all of Max's work.  The draft is a single drilled bore that takes a full 90 degrees at the bottom of the shank.  Inserted into the stem is a piece of redwood that has been aged, a preferred material in Max's pipes - and to great affectation.  This stunning piece is just another example of the creative shaping Max has been able to produce and it catches your breath every time you see it.
