Marinko Neralić Pipe 1/4 Bent Asymmetric Blowfish Sitter with Plateau

Seams, ridges, bulges, plateau, grain - its all here in this highly sculpted blowfish piece from MPipes.  The curve of shank and stem is particularly impressive.  One side is a crater of recessed plateau, while the other is a bulge of all birdseye.  The yellow striations in the stem's brindle gives an effect of mossy green which works very well against this contrasted finish.  It took me 20 minutes to realize that the top lines of the shank wrap and warp around the bowl are in fact the same line.  Like all of Mariko's work, the slot in the stem is deep and well shaped for a wide, smooth draw.
