Joseph Skoda Pipe Horn with Mazur Birch, Turquoise, and Plateau

Skoda pipes have always been trimmed with natural and exotic materials to a high degree, but combined with the beauty that is a perfect piece of briar, masterfully oriented to a compelling shape, and this kind of heirloom smoker is the result.  Swathed in straight grain and rimmed with birdseye, this very large horn keeps a wide seam of plateau all along the bottom of the stummel.  Finished smooth in a natural contrast, this ebonite ferruled masterpiece has a wedged insert of mazur birch to highlight the yellow in the finish, and just a touch of additional contrasting color in the turquoise band in the round flair of the stem.  Sublime and unique, this eye popping smoker also boasts a perfect draft and draw.
