Jesse Jones Pipe 3419 Dress Black Lovat with Antique Silver

Two years in the making, Jesse has been working on a process to perfect the dress finish made popular by Dunhill.  Not a stain that will wear away, not a lacquer that will brittle with age, but a process that keeps the wood in pristine condition, and the finish secured for another century after it leaves the workshop.  This is the first of what will hopefully be many of what most consider the classiest of finishes.  For such an accomplishment and knowing that silver looks amazing against the true and shiny black, the antique French band of silver was fitted flush to the stem.  Originally fashioned for a meerschaum in the 19th century, it lives again in this absolutely gorgeous and perfectly shaped homage to the dress finish.  While stunning and certainly appropo with a tuxedo, all you need to enjoy this work of art is a good tobacco.
