GBD Virgin Jollyboy Bent Billiard Estate Pipe

Densely cross-grained and finished smooth with birdseye framed on both sides of the bowl, this unusually shaped GBD Virgin is a registered Jollyboy and is quick to capture attention.  Lowering the rim with such a bent shank will make it difficult to pass a cleaner without removing the stem but makes keeping an eye on the rim while lighting significantly easier.  The wide and deep chamber did reveal some charring so a bowl coating of sodium silicate has been added to ensure no further issues.  Otherwise the shoulders of the button have been worn and while they have been crisped up as much as the material there will allow, they are shorter than when this pipe left the factory in London.
