Dirk Heinemann Pipe Sandblast Curved Blowfish with Bamboo Stalk
Item # DH220646Sold Out
Details
Sandblasted in a subtle rusty-red, this blowfish from German architect and pipe maker, Dirk Heinemann, features a marvelous stalk of bamboo, as opposed to the more commonly used root full of knuckles, for a ferrule of particularly lightweight and clean look. A tight pair of thin, black ebonite spacers detail the transition to the briar shank and the rim has been left smooth with subtle points highlighting the three panels that run the length of the pipe. A sculpted and flared saddle echoes the shape of the shank and the stem curves back to showcase a composition of asymmetry that works exceedingly well with this type of shape. Perfectly drilled to be a superb smoker with an open, smooth draw, this beautiful and modern briar has just enough room in the chamber to get the most flavors from an English or Balkan, though it will do well with any favorite tobacco.
