David S. Huber Pipe 1/8 Bent Egg

There are many great looking pipes being made today, but the sweet spot of shaping is the fine margin between simple, elegant, solid, and stylish that is all too rare.  This pipe from David S. Huber is just that - nothing extra, but all there!  The swoop of the heel and the transition fools one into thinking that this is simple, it is not.  The width of the equator and the length of the shank with a very minimal saddle almost hide the ever so subtle taper.  All that would be enough, but the deep red finish may lead to increased heart rates for all those who are lucky enough to see this fine puffer in person.
