Daniel Mustran Pipe Bent Sandblast Cobra with Exotic Woods and Acrylic

Exquisitely lengthy and curved along its bilateral axis, this cobra from Croatian pipe maker, Daniel Mustran does have a powerful sense of slither in its design.  Sandblasted to reveal both growth rings and straight grain, Daniel took the finish a step farther and polished it down to form a fantastic texture that serves to accentuate the swell and seamed lines all over the stummel.  The shank flares to a large band of exotic wood sandwiched by thin bands of a lighter specimen, and sandwiched again by acrylic for a finished look only found among master craftsmen producing handmade smokers.  The rim has been blackened and the chamber comes with a bowl coat that won't require any special breaking in.  Even the stem is acrylic that will never oxidize making for an exceptional pipe that smokes as good as it looks and will remain so for several generations providing and modicum of care.
