Curt Rollar American Bent Sandblast Cauldron Estate Pipe
Item # AE243832Sold Out
Details
Curt Rollar co-founded American Pipes with Mark Tinsky back in 1978. As far as we know he continued to carve until leaving the occupation in 1990 when Mark continued to keep the brand of briar alive. The urn, or cauldron, is a unique shape seen here with magnificently wide chamber, perfect for long sessions of folded flake or especially large cut leaf. The sandblast finish is tight and distinct with plenty of detail and the rim has been partially polished and shows significant darkening. Otherwise this American-made bent and saddled, large bowled smoker is in outstanding condition.
