Charles Fairmorn Handmade Billiard Sitter with Silver Estate Pipe
Item # EE194475$225.00
Details
This Charles Fairmorn Handmade billiard is a large estate pipe and likely made by Age Bogelund of Bari fame. Finished smooth with some impressive straight grain, these pipes are few and far between but represent the long history of the German tobacconist. This smooth specimen features a wide band of silver and a very thick walled stummel with an enormously wide chamber. There was some significant spider webbing in the cylindrical chamber so a sodium silicate bowl coat has been added to ensure generations more enjoyment from this magnificent and full sized briar. In outstanding condition with some minor inner rim darkening and some very minor handling marks.
