C. Martin Pipe by Chris Mattioda Bent Sandblast Volcano Sitter with Ivorite

Sandblasted in the rich and dark finish that Chris prefers, this slightly bent volcano is further adorned with a shank matching band of ivorite for well executed finishing touch.  The cant of the volcano bowl and the perfectly beveled edge around the bottom of the stummel, as well as the indent on top of the shank's transition to give it just enough definition without ruining the graceful lines, all point to the details only available in a handmade pipe.  What really impressed us is the perfect drilling and the draw, smooth and open to make the most of the wide chamber in this American-made briar.
