Benjamin Westerheide Pipe 1/2 Bent Reverse Calabash with Tear Drop Shank

Very compact, this driftwood finished pipe from Benjamin's workshop in Germany features a marvelous reverse calabash reservoir between the tenon and the draft at the bottom of the mortise.  This generates a dryer smoke and is especially cool on a pipe this small - practically a nosewarmer.  The texture of the finish is a result of the driftwood technique, allowing the holder to literally feel the grain and not just see it.  All black and very organic, as if artisan pipes just float in off the ocean and can be picked up at shorelines everywhere.
