Andrey Kharitonov Pipe Billiard with Silver and Brindle

Like all true briar lovers, the first thing we tend to notice about a pipe, especially a smooth, is the grain and this billiard from Andrey is a stunning example of the impressively rare specimen that is completely straight and oriented to the pipe's shape.  But this round shank and silver banded beauty has more than just a remarkable finish of contrasting natural beauty.  Note the tight transition from shank to bowl and the perfect lines, especially underneath where both bowl and shank are brought together without sacrificing dimension for either.  Most impressive to us is the little bit of extra swell on the back of the bowl, and a little less on the front, both serving in concert to accentuate the forward cant perfectly.  Well executed and baring an ebonite tri-color sand brindle stem, this looker will be an exceptional smoker as well.
