Nate Rose Pipe Sandblast Tipsy Billiard with Plateau

This kind of sandblast finish is both laborious and meticulous, requiring many additional hours of crafting than a standard blast finish, making this tipsy billiard from Canadian carver, Nathan Rose, extraordinary in its craggy detail.  Plateau graces the rim and even there, the briar has been blasted to reveal every possible nook and cranny from the shape.  Deep in the chamber but not so wide as to avoid the sweet and grassy virginia blends, this lightweight and roughhewn smoker is distinctly textured on the outside but carries a smooth and polished draft for a remarkably dry and satisfying smoke.
