From production to handmades, the Bari Piber company, started up by Viggo Nielsen and later featuring his sons, Kai and Jorgen, before being sold to production manager, Helmer Thomsen, has a long history of Danish shaping. This bent and flowing bulldog estate pipe has a massive chamber with sturdy, thick walls, especially wide the closer you get to the bottom of the bowl. There are some handling marks and the briar's grain fits a thumbprint pattern radiating out from the front of the bowl. The rim has some minor darkening and the draw and bite of this Danish handmade are spot on for a lengthy session of any favorite large cut leaf.
