Marinko Neralić Pipe Connecting Wave with Custom Stand and Tamper

Croatian carver, Marinko Neralić, has been handmaking his wave shape for many years, with a swooped rim cresting backwards over the shank.  This is the first we've seen where he has connected the two and the results are mesmerizing, like a briar möbius strip that is both well thought and executed.  A flared saddle stem, creative coloring to help delineate the panels, and spot carving to emphasize the wave's crest and artful scarring all work together to make this improbable shape not just a reality, but an organic shaped briar so well conceived as to trick us into thinking this is how pipes should have been shaped all along.  And with a custom morta stand with a matching tamper, this handmade will always look like it while on display between smoking sessions.
