Max was kind enough to make not one, but two fantastic classic shaped billiards - both extremely light and well grained for the serious smoker who likes to park it between the teeth and slip into the joyous throws of tobacco's embrace. The smooth saddled billiard has a profiled cross grain, leaving a chest of birdseye and an illusion of a slightly thicker shank. The tapered sandblast has grain oriented the same way, but with exposed undulating rings and a rich, deep burgundy finish. Both pieces are adorned with the vintage redwood that Max sourced himself from California, and the aged wood in heavy with details and variations of color. Each pipe fits snugly into a handmade custom case hinging of stout wood and black leather, to protect them from sun, wind, rain, and travel when not in use.
