If you are looking for the ultimate dry smoke, Johny Pipes has you covered. Not only is this stout Billiard a genuine reverse calabash with a removable cap, the stem can also accept a 9mm filter. While it won't hurt the pipe to forgo the filter, using one in combination with the reverse calabash system is sure to deliver a cool, bone-dry smoke. One of the most impressive features of this piece is the grain alignment between the cap and bowl. It's not a given that the cap and body be constructed from the same block of wood, but this one is, and blends together so well, you might forget the cap comes off. A beveled rim is another nice touch. The hand-cut acrylic stem is thin and comfortable, and the shank end is adorned with another, slice of briar.
