This stalwart Bulldog was in the workshop for quite some time. Rumor has it (and by rumor I mean subtle spying) that it took 4 pieces of palm wood before Jesse found the right orientation and fit he wanted. The result is spectacular, revealing nothing but perfect textured and black endgrain. The wide bowl is set to a bent and tapering shank that flows and yet still remains solid in proportion wrapped in a blast of grain and birdseye that is deep and consistent. A little wild, a little reserved...much like Jesse himself.
