Chris Morgan Pipe Bent Tomato

Gloriously smooth with a high-contrast display of grain, this handmade briar from California professional pipemaker, Chris Morgan, has a swell along the front of the bowl.  Likely, or at least in part, Chris worked himself into the shape while chasing the radial grain which was well worth the effort, but the end result is a thick wall with a surprising easy purchase when held in the palm.  We love the unique balance, as any briar lover would, but the functional use shaping is a pleasure to see in new ways just the same.
