Bonsai Pipe by Tobias Höse Bent Tomato with Ivorite

From the particularly white cap of ivorite to the fantastic smooth and high-contrast finish, Tobias has modernized this classic Danish shape with a a very subtle bend in the flared saddle stem.  While the proportions are exceptional there are some added nuances to the shape that support the amazing talent this German carver brings to his craft.  Not the swell of taper to the end of the shank and the very slight dome of the rim surface.  All masterful touches that make this exceptional specimen of briar and engineering a little more fantastic.  Not overly deep in the chamber, but large enough to support a complex English or Lakeland blend.
