Michael Addis (2020 Make) Bent Black Blast Danish Apple Estate Pipe

Michael Addis is an American pipe maker operating out of New England and although he's been perfecting his craft for well over a decade, this Danish inspired bent apple is the first estate pipe of his to come through our workshop.  Having spent some time with the pipe it is obvious why they don't come up on the estate market often.  The engineered draft is spot on and the draw is superb, promising a companionable smoker with a very wide chamber with which to build large and slow simmering embers to enjoy at a moderate pace.  The sandblast finish is black, tight, and distinct but the show stealer is that organic and curvy shape, well executed with a light and polished rim for touch of dynamic finish.  In excellent shape, this handmade has a long and cherished future.
